This Privacy Policy explains how Aman Kumar ("I", "me") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit amankrgoswami.com (the "Site") or contact me about services. I aim to collect as little data as possible.

Who I Am

I am a freelance Webflow developer and UI/UX designer based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and the person responsible for your data.

Data I Collect

  • Information you give me. Your name, email, company, project details, budget and timeline, and anything else you include when you use the project brief form, book a call or email me.
  • Client project data. Billing details, invoices, and the access or content needed to deliver the work.
  • Automatic data. Anonymised usage data such as pages visited, referrer, device type and country, collected through Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is measured without cookies and is not tied to an individual.

I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and the Site is not intended for children.

How I Use Your Data

  • To reply to enquiries and prepare proposals
  • To deliver projects and retainers, send invoices and keep business records
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

I do not sell your data, and I do not send marketing emails. You will only hear from me about an enquiry or project you started.

I process your data with your consent, for example when you submit the project brief form, to take steps towards or perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate business purposes such as keeping the Site secure.

This follows applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where the GDPR applies to you, these are the corresponding lawful bases.

Cookies & Analytics

This Site sets no cookies. It uses no advertising, tracking or preference cookies, and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage.

Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or follow visitors between sites. It records only aggregate information such as page views, referrer, device type and country.

Fonts are served from this Site itself rather than a font network, so loading a page sends no request to any third party for them.

Who I Share Data With

Only with trusted service providers that help me run my business:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and the cookieless analytics described above
  • Formspree — receives and forwards the project brief form
  • Calendly — used if you book a call. Opening a booking link takes you to Calendly’s own site, where their privacy policy applies. Nothing from Calendly runs on this Site.
  • Email and accounting providers — used to correspond with you and to issue and record invoices

These providers may process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union, under their own security and privacy terms. I may also disclose data where required by law.

How Long I Keep Data

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted
  • Client and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to eight years
  • Analytics data: according to Cloudflare’s own retention settings, in aggregate form only

Security

I use reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and reputable providers.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent at any time.

Depending on where you live, for example in the EU or UK under the GDPR, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
